Designed to blend into Riobamba’s natural landscape, this urban park leverages the views of the snow-capped mountains of Chimborazo, Altar, Tungurahua, and Carihuairazo, inspiring the layout of strategic plazas connected by a network of trails. Its botanical design highlights local biodiversity through gardens, green areas, and an exercise track, fostering a dynamic and healthy environment. The existing ravine and canal were transformed into springs and natural purification lagoons, promoting sustainability and connection with nature. The park also includes BBQ areas and a plaza for street vendors, enhancing its social function. The clubhouse, featuring green terraces, serves as the main viewpoint toward Chimborazo.
